Things to Consider When Buying a Bounce House

There are a few things to consider when you are considering purchasing the best bounce house for kids. The size of the bounce house, the price of the bounce house and the technical aspects of how bounce house inflatables actually work are all important.

Bounce House Sizes

Bounce houses come in various sizes, if you are planning on using a bounce house indoors, then do your self a favor, and measure your space before you start looking at which one will work for you. Do not forget to take your ceiling into consideration. If you have toddlers, it should not be much of an issue, but getting a few school aged kids in one and they might be getting pretty close to your roof! Also if you have a small backyard, you will want to want to buy a small bounce house so it is not rubbing on fencing or the side of the house etc.

Cheap Bouncy Houses versus Expensive Kids Bouncy Houses

Evaluating your budget is important before you start researching which bouncy house for kids is right for you. They are a bit easier to budget for than the best trampolines, which can vary from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars! Most of the quality bounce houses are a few hundred dollars.

Electricity Requirements

All of these inflatable bounce houses for sale require constant air to be flowing into them. This allows for a stronger inflatable and prevents over or under inflation. But the downside is that you need access to electricity. They generally have generous cords, but sometimes an extenuation cord is needed. Keep that in mind if you plan on using them outdoors.

The design of the constant air products has air escaping from the seams, so do not be alarmed if you can feel the air escaping.

Why Buy A Bounce House

Bounce houses can provide hours of entertainment for your children. In addition, they are great for aerobic exercise and developing gross motor skills. Some days I struggle to get my kids outside, and the second I offer to set up our bounce house, they are eager to get out there! We even set it up in the garage when it is raining! The cars get put outside and our two car garage is the perfect size to let the kids bounce!

Bounce House Accessories

So what else do you need when you buy a bounce house? Well, technically nothing, but after using these for as long as I have, I have a few tips on great accessories to have with your bounce house.

Firstly, a tarp for under the bounce house if you plan on using it on the grass. It makes it easy to roll up and less moisture will transfer onto the bounce house.

Secondly, an extension cord. While I said that these bounce houses generally have a generous cord on the blower, but having an extension cord handy will eliminate having to have the bounce house close to an electrical outlet.

Lastly, ball pit balls! Why not add another layer of fun with these bounce pit balls. They are great for toddlers who are just figuring out the bounce houses but I find when you get school aged kids in there, they bounce around too hard and do not really need the balls at all
